Through The Eyes Of the Fans
Football is a passionate sport. It’s an emotional rollercoaster and few events are more emotionally-charged than the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off semi-finals. In May 2017, we partnered with Sky Bet to celebrate the tournament’s return and to help the bookmaker dominate conversation on social media.
We created an original video series that retold the agony and ecstasy of the competition through the eyes of the fans. Our activity recorded over 22 and a half million impressions and surpassed Sky Bet’s target of 300,000 video views by over four million.
Our fan-focussed coverage of the final at Wembley also beat sponsored content from Manchester City, Manchester United, Bleacher/Report and the SPORTBible to be named the most viewed sport-related sponsored content at the time.
